DIGITAL FIRST Webinar and Podcast Series Successfully Conclude

The DIGITAL FIRST project is proud to announce the successful completion of its webinar and podcast series, marking an important milestone in the project’s efforts to support educators, trainers, and learners in navigating the digital transformation of education.

Coordinated by All Digital as part of the project’s multimedia production activities, the series delivered a rich collection of online learning opportunities, including six webinars and six podcast videos. Together, the webinars attracted 300 participants from across Europe, creating valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing, discussion, and professional development.

The webinar series concluded with three engaging sessions exploring key topics in digital education, artificial intelligence, and learning innovation.

Ready to Pilot: Empowering Teachers for a Functional Digital Education
Delivered by Universidade da Coruña (UDC), this webinar explored how teachers can move from a structural to a functional approach to informatics education. Participants discovered practical methodologies, classroom resources, and examples of digital portfolios created during the DIGITAL FIRST teacher training activities.

Media and AI Literacy
Held during All Digital Weeks and featuring international education analyst Lidija Kralj from Partners in Learning, this webinar explored the growing importance of media and AI literacy. Participants gained insights into current European and international frameworks and discussed the skills needed to critically engage with AI-driven technologies and digital media.

Learning Analytics in Action: Turning Learning Data into Better Education
Organised by the University of Turku, this session demonstrated how learning analytics can support evidence-based teaching and learning. Using a digital assessment as a practical example, participants explored how learning data can be transformed into meaningful insights that help improve educational outcomes.

The Podcast Series

The DIGITAL FIRST podcast series has also reached its conclusion with the publication of its sixth and final episode.

Episode 6: Generational Digital Divide – Do We All Speak the Same Language?
Produced by the Primary School Bratov Polančićev from Slovenia, the final episode brings together students and digital experts to explore how different generations communicate, learn, and interact in today’s digital world. Through an engaging intergenerational dialogue, the discussion touches on artificial intelligence, digital citizenship, creativity, online behaviour, and the future of communication.
